Did you know Kearney is exactly 1733 miles from Boston AND San Francisco?

It is! Just a fun fact. :)

Sometimes I think I had twins 4 years apart.  Is that possible??

Brotherly love and laughing…

We are alive…

Wow, I have not posted in a long time.  :)

We are here…we are alive…we are doing well.

I am so used to posting from my iPhone, but we are no longer able to use them, so I have to do it the “old fashioned way” on the computer…as if that’s really old fashioned.  But it does take longer.  I do have some videos and pictures to put up, so hoping to do that soon.

We have been in Kearney one month now and are doing well.  We have met some new folks.  We have had some surprising connections with folks that we already knew, but didn’t know were here.  We love our new church family.  I went to my first MOPS meeting here, and I think it literally saved me.  :)  Looking forward to more.

We are still trying to sell our house, but really, God has orchestrated everything else, so we continue to pray that He will provide a buyer in His time.  Now, that is not to say I have not worried about it…I have said Philippians 4:5-6 in my mind over and over…”Be anxious about nothing.  Be anxious about nothing.  Be anxious about nothing.”  Praying it is soon.  We have had very gracious hosts.  It would be so nice to get settled in to our own place.

Harrison has started in a preschool here, and is doing very well.  He is the star student this week.  They had pajama day today since the letter of the week is P, and they even had pancakes for their snack today.  One of his favorites!  He really enjoys going.   He has had a lot of transitions this year…from becoming a big brother to moving…and overall has done well.  There have been some tantrums and fits, but we’re getting through that.

And Toby is looking more and more like a mini-Harrison all the time.  He is rolling and jabbering all the time.  He has a quick smile, and is such a sweetheart.  Yesterday while changing his diaper he was tickling his own tummy, and laughing hysterically, but didn’t know he was doing it to himself.  Too funny.  Now, if I can just get him to stop waking up 5 times a night so I could get a full nights sleep.  Really.

That’s it for now.  Hoping to put up some pictures soon.

Harrison showing Toby his cars

Toby is going to have to like cars…I don’t think he’ll have a choice. :)
