I am a thirty-something stay-at-home-mom, so thankful for the grace of God that I rely on every day. Learning every day how to become the follower of Jesus, wife and mommy that I was meant to be. I have recently been reminded many times of the need to trust God and His plan, even when I don’t see the whole picture.

Here’s a little history for you. My husband, Kelly, and I met in July of 1997, on a blind date. We were engaged SIX weeks later…yes, SIX! When you know, you know. We’re originally from Lincoln, NE. (Go Huskers!) We moved to Iowa soon after we were married, and in August of 2006 we got an addition to our family. Our son, Harrison, was born. I am so blessed to be his mommy, and to have an amazing husband who supports me in this role. It’s not always a picnic. In fact, it is the most challenging thing I have done. But I’m learning and leaning on God’s grace every day, and so thankful for his love and teachings.
