Found an interesting blog that had this listed as a post today. Makes my heart ache for BILLIONS of people living in poverty all over the world and wondering where their next meal will come from. Also makes me mad at myself wondering if I would be able to give this “stuff” up easily. Should there [...]

Harrison went pee in the potty three times yesterday, and one time this morning. He has been patting his diaper when it is wet, and also showing some other signs, so I thought I’d see if he wanted to try going, and he did it every time. I really have no clue what I’m doing with [...]

We had a small party today for Harrison’s birthday. We had Grandma and Grandpa Gubser, Grandma and Grandpa Osburn, and our good friends, the Butler’s , here for brunch and cake. Harrison got so many cute things…a little 4-wheeler, an easel, a t-ball stand and bat, several books, a puzzle, many cars…and we saved something [...]

We decided to do another Cars cake this year for Harrison’s party, but wanted to do something different than last year. I found this idea on another blog, and went with it. We were very pleased with the results, and I think Harrison was, too! The whole time we sang to him, he was reaching [...]

We have a very busy next few days. We’re having Harrison’s 2nd birthday party on Sunday (his birthday is Tuesday), and we’re having both sets of grandparents here for the weekend! It will be so much fun to have everyone here together. Trying to get lots done in the next few days. We’ll see how [...]

May God bless you with discomfort
at easy answers, half truths and superficial relationships
so that you may [...]

It hasn’t been the greatest week, but it’s getting better. I woke up Wednesday with aches/fever/sore throat…ended up being strep throat. Which wouldn’t be too bad, except that’s the day Kelly left for a conference for 3 days. So, I was on my own for Wednesday and Thursday. Harrison was just about perfect, which helped [...]

Last winter our neighbor had to get a new cable run for their internet service, and the box is in our yard. Since it was winter, they didn’t bury the cable, and we’ve been waiting since then for them to do it. They were saying earlier this summer that they were still working on stuff [...]

We got Harrison out in the sprinkler today, and he loved it, although he doesn’t run through it as much as I thought he would. We had to turn it down because he didn’t it like it getting into his face…I suppose that’s pretty normal for a kid.
He’s been getting some molars [...]
