Hang your hat…

Yesterday we had a good day together.  I had a doctor’s appointment, and I knew it would be a short one, so Kelly and Harrison both went with so Harrison could hear the baby’s heartbeat.  We had been telling him I could hear it at the doctor’s, and he wanted to hear it, too.  He thought it was pretty cool.  All else is going well, too.  Blood pressure is good, I’m feeling the baby move a lot (in fact Kelly got to feel him for the first time the other night, too).  I’ve gained about 17 pounds so far, which is pretty good considering how much I have to snack to not feel like I’m going to throw up.  I’ve been TRYING to keep it all in moderation.

After the appointment we went to lunch, then went to the mall (my doctor is in Iowa City).  We had a fun day.

On the way back into town, Harrison says “Look!  We’re in Muscatine!  Why are we in Muscatine?”

Me: “Well, this is where we live, and we’re going home.”

H: “Yep!  We live in Muscatine.  Muscatine is where we hang our hats!”

Kelly and I looked at each other and just started laughing…not sure where he got that, but he picked it up somewhere.  :)
