Ahhhhh…vacation
So Kelly gets home tonight around 5:30 and says, “So, you wanna leave tonight?”
As in leave for our vacation that we were supposed to leave on Friday for.
Ummm…ok.
Keep in mind, that I really didn’t have too much packed, Kelly had to mow, we hadn’t eaten supper, etc…
But that hasn’t stopped us from doing this before. For some reason we get an itching to throw caution to the wind, not be afraid of forgetting something really important as we pack crazily at the last minute (there’s always a wal-mart nearby, right?), and stopping part way to our destination.
So Kelly got us a super cheap deal on price-line, and I am now looking at a sleeping Harrison in our hotel bed. He is too cute. We’re in Dubuque tonight and are planning on going the the Mississippi River Museum tomorrow morning before heading to the Dells. We’ve wanted to go the museum before, but it’s never worked out. I think H will enjoy it more now, too, since he’s a little older.
So, we’re on vacation a night early! Already enjoying spending time with my boys.
