We were in the Quad Cities today for a follow-up appointment for Kelly, and we had a fun day.  I went to the mall with Harrison while Kelly was at the Dr., and we had fun walking around.  Then we all went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A…they have a new one, and it is so awesome!  They have great food, but they also have a little play area for kids, and just a lot of “extra” things that make it nice.  Their toy with their kids meal is a book, and they have a series now about joy, patience, kindness…    Wonder where they got that from. 

Anyway, after lunch we went to a consignment shop that I love- Once Upon A Child.  I am all about bargain shopping.  I can’t remember the last time I paid full price for something.  I am all about clearance sales and consignment shops.  You can get some really cute things.  They were having clearance sales on their fall and winter things, and I got all of this, plus a pair of pajamas and a cute puzzle for $18.  4 pair of pants, a pair of overalls, and 7 shirts.  They were $1 a piece.  All the things that I got are Gap, Old Navy, Tommy Hillfiger, Nautica, or Children’s Place.  So, if you need some clothes for next winter, they would be a great place to check out!  Let me know if you want to know where they are!  (And as any place, they have much more girl’s clothes than boys, but they still have a great selection of boy’s stuff.)
