It is cold here
Cold. Plain cold. Frigid. This morning our digital thermometer said -21. The news said it was -17 with a windchill of -41.
And I think it’s getting to me. Last night after supper, Kelly politely told me that I had been very crabby and that I needed to get out. He proceeded to look up the movie listings right then and there on his phone, and I went and enjoyed a movie by myself. I went to Marley and Me. It was good, and it gave me a good cry. Free popcorn night, too, at the theatre, so I scored. 
But really, I do feel like I’ve been in a bad funk lately. I think it has something to do with not being active enough. I looked into joining the Y and it was surprisingly affordable. I always thought it would be more than $24 a month for me. Plus, I can take Harrison to the child care there for free while I work out. I really am looking forward to getting out in the mornings with him and getting some exercise. There’s also a tumbling room that I can take him to, which he will LOVE. So, once this cold streak snaps, I am going to go join and attempt to get into shape. I think it affects my mood more than I think.
Here’s a few pictures of the last couple of days. Just playing around the house. I also recruited Harrison today to help me dust, since it is my least favorite house cleaning job. He seemed to enjoy it, so it is his job from now on. He set up the couch cushions like that on his own while I was getting some things done in the kitchen. I went in there and he was rolling his 4 wheeler over them, and then ‘crashing’ off of the edge. He needed to burn some energy. The last one is him throwing a fit when I wouldn’t give him the camera.
