I’m not real sure what to do now…
Kelly and Harrison left today around 1:00 to go to Hamburg, IA (where Kelly’s parents are from) where they will participate in a tractor brigade tomorrow morning, and the Hamburg ‘Popcorn Days’ parade tomorrow afternoon. I decided to stay home and get some projects done. Kelly actually came up with the idea that he could take Harrison so I could get some things done. We’ve been asking Harrison all week if he wants to go ride a tractor with Papa and his eyes get real big and he says a big “Yeah!”. They apparently had a great trip over (Hamburg is in the farthest SW corner of IA that you can get; it’s about a 5 hour drive).
Well, I did find some things to do this afternoon. After spending a little time at Toyota figuring out what is wrong with the van (they had to order a $180 part to be put on next week…and I can’t go out of town until it’s done…oh well), I went and got a pedicure. This is only the second time in my life that I’ve had this done, but I enjoyed it so much. They have massaging chairs!! I mean, how can you beat that? And my toes look pretty now.
As for the rest of the weekend…the basement storage room is calling my name. I can hear it right now. I’ll finish some organizing down there, and I have a list with many other small projects that I just haven’t gotten to lately.
I’m using Kelly’s laptop, and I’m glad he left it. I just tried turning on my computer and the blue screen of death came on…it said something about ‘dumping memory’…I don’t know computers real well, but I just don’t think that’s a good thing. It said to call our network administrator, so I called Kelly. He said to turn it off and he’d deal with it when he got home. One more thing to add to the list.
This is kind of a jumbled post…sorry…have a great weekend!
