Saturday
This is the first Saturday in years that Kelly has had off (besides a vacation day). Even before he started at church full-time, he was usually there on Saturdays doing sound stuff. We’ve just gotten used to him being at church all day getting ready for the weekend, and having Mondays off. It’s just different having a Saturday off, though, for some reason.
Church is just having one service this weekend at Weed Park for our Summer’s End Celebration, so Kelly got today off. We did some things around the house, I went to the store, he mowed, we grilled, we played with Harrison. It was a fun day. Getting ready to go to bed, though, because he has to be at the park at 6:00 am to get ready for the 10:00 am service. The break was nice while it lasted.

I am in agreement. This is the first Saturday in a long time that Austin didn’t spend the entire day at church. It does seem a little bit weird since I am so used to it. It was even strange not getting the kids ready and going to Saturday service. I am really glad that Kidzone starts again next week though!
