Iced In
It is very yucky out today…icy, rainy, yucky. They closed the schools, and so the church office closed, too, which means Kelly is home. I’m glad he didn’t have to go out in it. He’s not feeling too well, so I don’t know if he would have gone anyway. We’re praying that our tree in the back yard and the house don’t get damaged by the ice. We’ve had it scheduled to get trimmed, but that hasn’t happened yet. Every time we get ice we hold our breath. We always get small branches that break off, and we’re hoping the large ones stay put. 
I’m trying to get some cleaning done, and maybe some baking. Fun stuff. I am looking forward to baking for Christmas this year. I haven’t done it for two years (two years ago I was pregnant and not feeling well and last year we were getting ready to move), and I really enjoy doing it. It’s kind of a stress-reliever for me. We’ll see how much I get done.
