Phoebe is no longer our dog.    We had been debating and thinking about it for a long time and finally decided a couple of weeks ago to put an ad in the paper for her.   She is such a sweet dog, but always wanted attention, and frankly we just didn’t have enough to give her right now.  We had several calls (there were some that were ruled out right away, though, like the family that also had a lab/pit bull mix…), and a couple of people came to look at her.  One family called on Saturday to let us know they wanted her.  She is actually going to the grandparents, but I have a feeling will be around the grandkids a lot, and I think they will give her a lot of attention.  She is great with kids, so I think it will be a great fit.  They have had yorkies before, too, so that was good.  When they picked her up tonight she jumped right in the van and hopped into the back seat with two of the boys and she sat there with her tongue hanging out enjoying all of the petting and attention they were giving her.  We will miss her a lot!  Tonight after she left I was hearing the little jingle of her collar…it will take a while to get used to her not being here.  We love you, Phoebe-jeebe!
