A Year Ago Today
He’s changed a little, don’t you think? I think we’ve already forgotten how tiny he was. A year ago today we were getting to know our little newborn boy. I cannot believe how fast a year can go by. It has been a year full of changes (diapers and otherwise), adjusting, more adjusting, laughter, tears, joy, exhaustion, proud moments of new discoveries…the list could go on. We are so proud to be Harrison’s parents. He has brought us so much happiness and are so thankful that he is a happy and healthy baby. He brings smiles to people wherever we go. It is so much fun to see him discover new things each day, and we are so excited to see what God has in store for this little boy. We can’t wait to see how his ’story’ plays out and to see what God has planned for him.
Harrison, we love you through and through…yesterday, today and tomorrow too. (This is from one of our favorite books.)
God, You know the plans you have for Harrison, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. Cause Harrison to call upon you and come and pray to you, and then listen to him, O Lord. Let him seek you with all of his heart, and find you when he does seek you. (Jeremiah 29:11-13).
