Ok…in the beginning of this whole moving process, I kept thinking “Well, this isn’t too bad.  Why does everyone stress about moving?”.  Today I’m stressed!  

We have been making decisions on carpet, paint, re-doing the new bathrooms completely, doing a moderate kitchen make-over…all within a certain budget, which is a lot of stress in itself.  I had been a little nervous about the furnas inspection for our house, but it passed fine.  It works fine, it’s just old.  I was not nervous at all about the termite inspection, but I guess I should have been.  We had the inspection today and we have termites!  Instantly I saw all of the money for all of the new house stuff disappear.  I was thinking thousands.  But it amazes me how God is in the details.  The guy gave me a price of $722 to treat everything.  AND, get this…our carpet estimate came back today about $1000 LESS than what we had figured.  So, I think it is all going to work out.  I’m sure there will be something in the next two weeks (or more since we’ll be doing work to the new house well after that) to get me all stressed up again, but I am going to work on letting it go and giving it up to God…he knows about it already.
