I feel like the worst mother…
I was trimming Harrison’s nails and took out a little tiny piece of skin of his little pinky. He immediately started screaming and didn’t stop for about 30 minutes. I feel horrible. It didn’t stop bleeding either, so I called the doctor and went in for them to look at it. It just took a while to stop bleeding, but it finally did and they said it would be fine. I knew I would do that at some point and have been extrememly careful while doing it…it is a horrible feeling. But, he is pretty much calmed down now.
As for my van, we found out it needs a new battery, new front brakes and a new catilytic (sp?) converter. For parts only for all of these, it would be about $1,000. So, luckily we have a mechanic in the family and he said we would be fine until we get back to Nebraska the first week of November and he would be able to work on it. Thank goodness for family. Now pray that nothing goes wrong before then!!
