Burst my bubble
Well, my bubble bursted at about 4:00 this morning when I had a kidney stone attack…this time the painful one where it travels down the ureter tube. When I went to the Dr. on Monday, he decided not to do any type of procedure and we were just going to wait it out a little since I hadn’t had any of these. Anyway, I had one today, so I may need to have a procedure done after all. We went to the ER and got some morphine & ended up back home around 6 or 6:30. I then called my urologist & he’s going to wait a day or so to see what happens, but my experience in the past is it takes quite a while for it to travel all the way, so I could have more of these attacks soon. I kind of wish he would just do it so I could get it over with and not have to deal with these for a while. I am still kind of drowsy from the medicine, and am unable to nurse Harrison for a while. Kelly stayed home and took care of him, thank goodness, because I was out of it. Then this afternoon, I passed another one from my bladder, which would be #5 since I’ve had Harrison. Craziness.
And, to top it off, Harrison has been very fussy the last two days. I don’t know if he has a touch of colick- he has been great up until yesterday, but he has been so fussy since then. I read that colick reaches it peak usually around 6 weeks, which is how old he is. So, we’re trying to comfort him, too, but nothing seems to be helping. It breaks my heart when I can’t seem to do anything for him. I wish he could tell me what is wrong! Hopefully it will pass soon.

I think I’d rather have a broken toe.
But, things could be worse. We’re hanging in there.
Hey kids,
Sorry to hear about all the stones. At least you didn’t break a toe.. eh?
Hang in there sis..
