8/21 Update…
Posting from my phone has not worked as smoothly as I had hoped. So, there are some extra pictures on my Flickr account that have not made it here. To see them, scroll down and look for my latest pictures along the right side of the page. Click on one to go to my account and look at them all.
Harrison is just an absolute doll. He has been getting the feeding thing down pretty good with mom. That has been a relief.
Amy is doing well also. We should go home tomorrow sometime.
The urologist did not want to do anything in regards to her kidney stones right now, so we will wait. The CT Scan showed that she has one that is over 8mm diameter about to the bladder, but the kicker is that it is 19mm long! A little torpedo! It is likely that this has been the one causing problems all along with pieces of it breaking off and passing on out. It’s length is likely caused by other stones coming down and uniting with it.
She has several more in each kidney, too.
The plan is to come in later this fall to have the “torpedo” blasted. Then a bit later after that have the ones in her kidney broken up by lithotripsy. So, lots to come, but now we have a game plan!
